We met with friends for a lovely morning at the
Feria Verde in San Jose, Costa Rica. The feria is part organic farmer’s market, part craft market for locally made fashion and other goods. We drank organic coffee, ate a delicious vegan breakfast, and loaded up our bags with locally-grown veggies. I even snagged a beautiful hand-dyed bamboo dress (that I failed to take a picture of, oops.) Apparently in pre-Covid times there was also live music but when we visited in January 2020, it was mostly quiet shoppers who kept to themselves while enjoying a morning under the beautiful canopy of trees.
I wore one of my favorite
organic cotton shirts from
In the Soulshine that says “Eat plants, save the planet.” Seemed appropriate. My joggers were made in LA by Allen Schwartz from sustainable satin. My bag was handmade in Costa Rica and a part of the proceeds went to support a local animal rescue!
